McCAIN, McCAIN, HAVE YOU NO SHAME - HIDING BEHIND THE SKIRTS OF SARAH PALIN

Barack Obama is now starting to "unload" on the gruesome-twosome of the Republican Ticket.

In Barack's own words: "I've got to admit, these folks are shameless," Obama told a rally here, displaying a passion and an intensity rarely seen from the Illinois senator.

More from Obama:

While other polls have Obama ahead in all-important battleground states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and Colorado, his campaign has clearly decided it is time to take off the gloves against McCain and, in particular, Palin.

"You can't just make stuff up, you can't just reinvent yourself," he said earlier in Flint, Michigan, in response to Palin's boast that she had intervened to kill the federally funded bridge.

"The American people aren't stupid."

Well, Obama won't have to wait much longer for the McCain ticket to completely unravel. The following is from the Huffington Post blog of September 11, 2008 reporting on Sarah Palin's Thursday night television interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson - my, how prophetic!]:

Palin talks about invading Russia

"When Gibson said if under the NATO treaty, the United States would have to go to war if Russia again invaded Georgia, Palin responded: "Perhaps so. I mean, that is the agreement when you are a NATO ally, is if another country is attacked, you're going to be expected to be called upon and help."

It doesn't get any scarier.

She even paraphrases from Lincoln to explain what she meant by her comment that the Iraq War was a task from God. As Ms. Palin elaborates, Lincoln cautioned never to presume to know what God's will is.

I don't know. Sarah Palin and Lincoln in the same sentence. Yikes! I don't believe "Honest" Abe would take too kindly to being so misconstrued by the likes of Klondike Katie/Palin.

Stay tuned for more.

To Russia with love!
